9:00am Pick up from Bayview Geographe Resort

9:30am Margaret River Nuts & Muesli Factory

10:00am Morning Tea  (The Grove/Yahava KoffeeWorks). Yahava KoffeeWorks –the very finest coffee beans imported and roasted into the most flavoursome of coffee in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region  

11:00am Dykes-Hoffman Studio Ceramics

11:30am Treeton Estate Winery – Tastings. Treeton Estate occupies a superb location in the heart of the famous "Margaret River Wine Region", known for it's maritime climate, fine soils and long ripening season.  

12:30pm Lunch stop in Margaret River where you can choose from 1 of the 32 eating establishments in the main street.
You will be dropped off at one end of the street and picked up at the other.

2:30pm Candy Cow - Cowaramup. Located in a tiny, picturesque town called Cowaramup (Cow Town) set amidst rolling green dairy country, acres of vines and the glorious beaches of the Margaret River Food and Wine region. The Candy Cow is the most `wicked sweet shop in the South West'. Everything delights the senses – the smiling faces, the colours, the mouth watering tastes, the busy sounds, the delectable aroma, the range of `old fashioned` lollies, fine fudge and nougat to die for, chocolate and great quantities of fresh, golden, crunchy honey crunch being poured out onto the table!  

3:00pm Wood Be Good - Wood Gallery

4:00pm Yallingup Galleries Yallingup Galleries is a purpose built gallery, established in a natural bush setting at the gateway to the Margaret River Wine Region. The gallery represents recognised Australian Artists and displays a diverse range of Fine Arts and Furniture.

5:00pm Arrive back at Bayview Geographe Resort

3:00pm Happs Vineyard & Pottery – Tastings. Happs is located in the Margaret River appellation. The Happs label dates from 1981 and draws its fruit from both our vineyards, Dunsborough in the north and Karridale in the south.

3:30pm Anniebrook Flower Farm

4:00pm Goanna Gallery

5:00pm Arrive back at Bayview Geographe Resort

MONDAY 26TH MAY 2008 - TOUR OPTION 1

9:00am Pick up from Bayview Geographe Resort

9:30am NGILGI Cave Tour. Beneath the limestone ridge which forms Cape Naturaliste lies Ngilgi Cave at Yallingup.
Discovered in 1899; Ngilgi Cave (formerly known as Yallingup Cave ) remains one of the Capes most visited attractions.
Year 2000 marked one hundred years of operation as a tourism attraction. Ngilgi Cave is named because of its association with a rich
Aboriginal legend describing the battle between a good spirit (Ngilgi) and an evil spirit (Wolgine).
Ngilgi Cave offers visitors a stunning display of stalactite, stalagmite, helictite and shawl formations plus an interpretative area detailing
the caves rich history.
A cafe, playground, barbecue facilities and walk trails make a visit to Ngilgi Cave an excellent family outing

12:30pm Lunch (Bootleg Brewery). Bootleg produces a wide range of beers from our most popular Wils Pils – Winner “Best Draft Beer Australasia ”, to our full bodied “Gold Medal” award winning Raging Bull.
We also produce a light beer, Amber Light, an English style bitter, Tom's Brown and our newest beer – Settlers Pale Ale.

3:00pm Cape Lavender - Tastings. Nestled between Cape Leeuwin and Cape Naturaliste , in the heart of the Margaret River wine region, is the family owned Cape Lavender . The enchanting combination of lavender and vineyard surrounded by natural bushland makes us a welcome break from the traditional wineries of the region, and a truly unique tourist attraction.
Bev Ainsworth purchased the property in April 1999 and immediately commenced planting and propagating lavender for oil production, cut and dried flowers, pot pourri and culinary purposes, as well as planting a 30 acre vineyard, which this year produced its fifth commercial crop.
Seven years on, not only are we experts in lavender and its production, but we have also transformed the site into a 75 acre wonderland of colour and fragrance, where visitors can enjoy beautiful lavender gardens, quality boutique wines, an idyllic vineyard restaurant and lavender gift shop selling our home-made products and produce.

3:30pm Gunyulgup Galleries. Gunyulgup is an aboriginal word meaning 'resting place near water'. The galleries peaceful rural setting, overlooking a tranquil lake is a perfect backdrop for its unique and innovative structure. Since 1996 it has been complemented by an adjacent restaurant. Since its inception in 1987, the Galleries have won international recognition for presentation, quality and service .

4:00pm Purist Gallery. Purist Gallery is a contemporary purpose built and architecturally designed fine art gallery with a retro feel. Set in beautiful bush in the Margaret River Region of Western Australia Purist Gallery will take your breath away. Inspired paintings and unique handcrafted jewellery and objects are always exhibited .
Since its inception in 1987, the galleries have won international recognition for presentation, quality and service.

9.45am Arrive BUNBURY DOLPHIN DISCOVERY CENTRE.
The Dolphin Discovery Centre is a non-profit organisation committed to Dolphin research, education, conservation and tourism.
The Centre was opened in 1994, and is the first Centre in Australia dedicated entirely to Dolphin research.
The Centre enables people to interact with Bottlenose Dolphins in a variety of ways.
There are up to 100 dolphins living in the Bay and groups of them regularly visit the shallow waters in front of the Centre.

10.00am Boat Tour amongst Dolphins

The Dolphin Discovery Centre is Australia's Premier Dolphin Interaction Experience .

11.30am Tour Finishes

12 Noon Lunch in Bunbury City . Choose from one of the many eateries in Victoria Street .

Start your day on the banks of the Margaret River enjoying a mouth watering prime cut steak, chicken, steamed fish or a vegetarian pattie and fresh garden salad. Then follow this with a fun filled day touring around Margaret River in luxurious comfort.

You won't just be going on a wine tour, be prepared for lots of laughing, fun & knowledge, from the planting of the vines to the maturing and enjoying of wine.
While touring around you will enjoy cheese & biscuits on board with bottled water supplied, all while learning about the region in a good old light hearted aussie fashion.

The tour will also include a visit to the Chocolate Factory, Cheese Factory, Colonial Brewery and Venison Farm.

9.30am Depart Bayview Geographe Resort for BUSSELTON JETTY UNDERWATER OBSERVATORY TOUR

The Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory is one of Western Australia 's most popular eco-tourism icons. Allowing you to descend eight metres below sea level to view an amazing marine world of schooling fish and tropical coral, the Underwater Observatory is a favourite with people of all ages.
With about 400,000 visitors to the Jetty each year, why not spend a few hours yourself to soak up the unique atmosphere and “be touched by nature”.
The 140-year-old Busselton Jetty, measured at 1841 metres, is the longest wooden jetty (pier) in the southern hemisphere.

11.00am Return to Bayview Geographe Resort.

PLEASE NOTE : There is a 1.6klm walk out to the Observatory, steps as indicated above, and a 1.6klm walk back!
[The Busselton Jetty Train is currently out of order .]
Weather conditions leading up to 27th May will dictate as to whether this Tour will go ahead – stormy weather 2 weeks prior to this date can cause the cancellation of the tour due to the churning of the sand.
